![]() Generally, DO NOT mess around with the Audition program files folder. Unless the plug-in manufacture doesn't follow the registry setting, Audition should scan the correct folders. It is the de-facto location for 3rd party effects (depending on which DAW you use, Sonar creates their own folder and modifies the Registry to then use that folder). The Steinberg folder is put there because they developed VST and got naming rights. There is even less reason to do so now with Audition CS5.5. Lets the VST's install where they want to, rarely will you have to manually copy effect DLL's around.
